PC-104 battery

Closeup of the PC-104 battery. This is a new product from Technologics, and the instructions are a bit ambiguous. Probably need to buy a power supply before I can use it; e-mail has been sent to them for assistance. It is claimed this thing will drive the 7260, which is a low-power design, for days, though I would expect that might not be the case if wireless is enabled.

I haven't yet gotten to that problem. I have a friend who has interfaced to a Palm device, so I plan, later, on getting with him. Right now, my focus is on getting the hardware together; what is left to do is the battery and the web cam. Then I will look into programming the TTL ports on the board, first by learning the PIC and its toolchain, how to download hex files, getting a cable together to interface the board and the VEX, and *then* I can start looking into what to do about sending commands to and from the VEX and the Linux board.
